Things to consider when booking Ventanas
Getting ready location
Ventanas does not offer much by way of getting ready spaces, and the attached Hilton Garden Inn does not match the aesthetic of the venue. Plan to get ready at a nearby hotel such as W Atlanta Downtown, The Starling Hotel, or Signia by Hilton Atlanta. These locations offer spacious suites that photograph well and can also serve for portraits if bad weather affects your day.
Weather plan
Although Ventanas is a beautiful venue, indoor photo options are limited if it rains. Add a first look to the timeline so we can take portraits at your getting ready location if needed.
Wedding party size
Keep the group small. If we need to move indoors, large parties require space the venue does not offer. A total of 8 to 10 works best when space is limited.

What are the best spots for photos at Ventanas?
Ventanas doesn’t have an multitude of locations at to take photos. I suggest family photos on the terrace with the skyline and your ceremony decor. Couple portraits on the helipad for 360 degree views. A short night session to capture the city lights and the Ferris wheel.
When is the best time for portraits at Ventanas?
Plan 15 to 20 minutes for helipad portraits after the ceremony and 10 to 15 minutes after dark for night shots. We will add a small buffer so the timeline stays comfortable.
Should I get dressed at the Venue?
No, I would suggest choosing a nearby hotel for more space and a look that fits the venue. Great options include W Atlanta Downtown, The Starling Hotel, and Signia by Hilton Atlanta.
What happens if it rains on the wedding day?
